• Our products tend to last for 12 months without use. Of course, it depends how many people use it. We generally say that one soap bar lasts an average of 1 to 2 months, depending on usage.

8. Do your products contain essential oils or fragrance oils?

• We only use natural essential oils in our products and no artificial fragrance oils. Our essential oils derive from plant parts whereas fragrance oils are blended with synthetic compounds or blended with an essential oil that may have been diluted with a carrier.

9. I have sensitive skin and cannot use most soaps. Will I be able to use yours?

• Yes, most likely you will be able to use all our soaps because they are incredibly soothing and contain natural ingredients, which do not cause irritation. Essentially, all our soaps are ideal for sensitive skin, but if you do happen to have hypersensitive skin or certain allergies, we recommend you try our Soothe & Hydrate soap bar with calming aloe and cucumber extracts.

10. How should I store your products?

• Our soaps should be stored in a cool and dry location until being used. When using the soap, ensure you drain it and store it in a way so that it can breathe and get plenty of air flow from all sides in between use. In this way you can ensure the longevity of the soap bar. After use pat dry and avoid contact with extreme heat or direct sunlight.

11. Can I use it to wash my hair?

• No, unfortunately not. Our products are aimed to repair and revitalise your face and body.

12. Do I still need to moisturize my skin after using your products?

• Our soap is a cleaning product. If you typically moisturize your skin after showering or cleansing your face, we recommend continuing your routine as usual after using our soap. For those who don’t moisturize, our soap won’t leave your skin dry and tight, it is safe to be used on your face.

• We’ve had numerous people stating that our soaps have had such a moisturizing effect on their skin, that they entirely stopped using lotion.

13. Are your products vegan and animal cruelty free?

• At Patet Skin we strictly use natural, organic, and vegan ingredients. We take pride in being environmentally friendly and animal cruelty free.  

• We strictly follow the EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and Cosmetic Product Safety Reports has been made for each soap.

• At Patet Skin, we do not discriminate against anyone. Our products are suitable for all ages, skin colours and genders.

15. I suffer from allergies. Can I use your products?  

• Botanicals carry allergens in its natural state and may not be well tolerated by individuals with certain sensitivities. For instance, people who are allergic to nuts should avoid products with nut ingredients such as almond oil or shea butter. We list all ingredients in our soaps for your perusal and if discomfort persists, please discontinue use, and seek medical attention.
